Its particuliarity ? It is a so-called dioecious plant, meaning that the male and female flowers are on two separate plants: pollination (by the wind or insects) is necessary for their fertilization.

This perennial plant can reach a height of 70 cm. It consists of a thick root called “rhizome”, edible, fragrant and widely used for its composition full of virtues. Rhodiola Rosea is also composed of flavonoids, rosavin, salidroside and twelve amino acids, but also many vitamins and mineral salts.
