How To Style Women’s Trendy Suits In A Feminine Chic Way

Many girls do not prefer to wear a formal suit, especially with trousers, because they consider it masculine and its appearance reduces femininity!! Of course, this belief is never true. The tuxedo was very important in the fifties, and it was called ‘Power Suit’, meaning the suit that evokes power, because it gives the impression of a confident and strong woman. Currently, this fashion trend is back. stronger than ever. That’s why I wanted to give you a few tips and tricks on how to style women’s trendy suits in a feminine chic way.

Blouse or Corset top

Choosing the inner top is what determines the style of the suit; formal, casual, etc. If you want your outfit to be more feminine, you should avoid linen and cotton shirts, etc., because they are similar to the men’s shirt.

If you want to choose a shirt, choose silk or chiffon materials. And it is better to choose blouses with ties on the neck in order to break the formality of the suit…

You can also choose corset tops, especially made of lace, because they are very feminine and trendy, and you can wear them for big events and parties.

Dark colors and heavy fabrics

It is preferable to choose formal suits in light colors such as: pink, baby blue, etc. i.e. cold pastel colors, these colors are very stylish and on trend this season.

Of course, this does not mean you should never wear dark colored suits; they have their own charm, especially in the winter season. You can style them with light colored shoes and bags to make the look more feminine and chic. Also avoid heavy materials that weigh down the outfit.

If you want your suit to look informal: choose a suit without buttons.

Accessories and pins:

The trend this season is to wear a closed suit jacket without a top underneath it. so make sure to focus on styling it with jewelry and accessories even when you do wear a top underneath.

One of my favorite pieces that complements a suit look is a chic delicate diamond necklace or pin. It gives the power suit a luxurious glamorous look.

It obviously doesn’t have to be diamond or gold… wear whatever you have as long as you steer clear of plastic and leather because they don’t go with this look.

Scarves and Faux Fur:

I always find that wearing a delicate scarf on the neck adds an elegant magical touch to the outfit, given that you choose the right colors that go well with the suit.

In winter, opt for a faux fur draped over one shoulder or a long coat over the shoulders to give off a royal-chic look feeling.

Size and Belt:

The right size is the secret key to any outfit. Many complain that formal suits don’t suit them or don’t flatter their shape.

Well, rest assured, formal suits look great on any body shape so long as you choose the right cut and the right size.

The length of the jacket plays a key role in choosing the right one:

– If you are petite, choose a cropped jacket

– If you are tall, opt for a long suit jacket.

The belt is another element that can flatter your shape, and make it look more feminine and elegant by defining your waist and silhouette. This one again needs to be the right size shape and color.

Shoes

For me, I tend to go more for heels with formal suits, especially if I am aiming for a feminine chic look. I think closed-toe shoes look better with suits as opposed to sandals.

This season, trainers are a statement piece for any outfit. They look great with jeans, dresses, or even suits, given that you choose a casual suit ( not formal).

Bag

Choosing the right bag is very important and makes the biggest difference when wearing a formal suit. Choose the right bag based on the event you are going to: Big practical totes bags are for workdays. As for dinner dates, opt for a small bag or a clutch.

The formal suit is a timeless piece that will never go out of style. If you invest in a good quality piece, you can keep it forever, and wear it for different occasions, even for a red carpet. The suit outfit is suitable for winter and summer as long as you style it accordingly.
