So many elements for which the skin needs to be prepared, in order to acclimatize as well as possible! Indeed, let’s not forget that the latter is coming out of a dark and cold winter. Before exposing it directly to the sun’s rays, it is therefore necessary to give it a small transition period – that’s why spring was invented – during which it will have plenty of time to get into condition. This way, you will prevent dryness and premature aging, and maintain beautiful, toned and luminous skin.
A natural routine to prepare well for summer
At least one month before your departure on vacation or your first prolonged exposure to the sun, start integrating the following steps into your usual routine:
–We exfoliate
If exfoliation is an essential gesture throughout the year, it is even more so as summer approaches. In fact, the latter helps eliminate dead skin and impurities, and leaves room for new cells, healthier and therefore more able to adequately resist the sun.
One exfoliation per week β both on the body and on the face β will help your skin to renew itself correctly and sufficiently in anticipation of sun exposure.
–We moisturise
Second step to prepare for summer, preserve the natural hydration of your skin! To do this, thereβs nothing like applying a moisturizing lotion or serum. After cleansing with water or mild soap, you can spray the floral water of your choice directly over the entire face and neck to purify the skin and tighten pores.
You can also apply a natural serum based on floral water and vegetable oil, to provide even more hydration!
–We nourish
In order to be well prepared for the sun, your skin β both on your face and your body β will need to be nourished. For this, nothing like the following vegetable oils, to use raw or to incorporate into a cream or balm recipe
