Get up and sit on the edge of your bed. Your feet are flat on the ground and your spine is straight, your chin is parallel to the floor. Place the backs of your hands on your knees, palms facing the sky. Inhale three times through your nose and exhale three times through your mouth.
–Exercise to facilitate breathing and open the rib cage
Stretch your right arm towards the ceiling, place your left elbow on the bed, inhale three times and lean with your arm still in the air to stretch your entire right side. Exhale three times and return to center. Same exercise on the other side with the left arm stretched towards the ceiling and the right elbow resting on the bed.

Still in a seated position and in pajamas. Put your hands on your hips, turn your waist to the right while inhaling three times, exhaling three times, return to center. Same exercise on the left, remembering to breathe.

Stand up, lean towards the ground slowly, taking a deep breath. Your legs are straight or bent, let your arms and head hang then slowly come back up.
