Ingredients for a homemade foot cream:

There are several versions of nourishing foot care. You can opt for a creamy version which will be easier to apply and penetrate your foot. Otherwise if your feet are really very dry with split heels. In this case, you can choose the balm version which is more nourishing.

Cream version:

Oily phase:

  • 20 g shea, cocoa or coconut oil butter protective and nourishing
  • 10 g sweet almond, argan or avocado oil restorative, nourishing and healing
  • 5 g olivem or polawax natural emulsifiers

Aqueous phase :

  • 10 g of true lavender or chamomile hydrosol or water

Additives:

  • 15 drops of true lavender, rose geranium or chamomile essential oil antiseptic and healing
  • 10 drops of vitamin E natural preservative

This cream can be kept for 3 months away from the sun.

Balm version:

Oily phase:

  • 20 g shea butter, cocoa or coconut oil protective and nourishing
  • 10 g sweet almond, argan, or avocado oil restorative, nourishing and healing
  • 10 g of beeswax

Additives:

  • 15 drops of true lavender, rose geranium or chamomile essential oil antiseptic and healing

In a balm, vitamin E is not necessary because there is no water and the essential oils are enough to preserve the balm.

This balm can be kept for 3 months away from direct sunlight.

If you are missing ingredients, you can find them in organic stores or drugstores.

Make a foot cream:

Cream version:

  • Melt the oily phase in a bain-marie,
  • Also slightly heat the aqueous phase in another bowl in a bain-marie, this will facilitate the mixing,
  • Once the oils have melted, you can take the two bowls out of the bain-marie,
  • Then it will be necessary to mix the aqueous phase in the oily phase using a mini whisk,
  • Mix until you get the texture of a cream,
  • Then you can add the essential oils and mix well again,
  • Finally pour the preparation into a glass container disinfected with 70Β° alcohol or sterilized.

Balm version:

  • Melt the oily phase in a bain-marie,
  • Once the oils and wax have melted, you can take the bowl out of the bain-marie,
  • Then it will be necessary to mix the oily phase using a mini whisk,
  • And you can add the essential oils and mix well again,
  • Finally pour the preparation into a glass container disinfected with 70Β° alcohol or sterilized.
  • Apply the care after the shower by massaging your feet in the evening before going to bed to give it time to penetrate.
