Get an armchair For your bathroom

Just take care of a few details to transform your bathroom into a space conducive to chasing away all tensions. It’s about creating a zen, soothing atmosphere. If you have enough space, install an armchair. Even a simple chair, with a comfortable seat, with a cushion, will be perfect.

Do not hesitate to leave the usual framework of the small carpet with the dimensions of the basin, in short sponge. You can even choose to cover a large part of your floor. And for comfort as much as for the visual aspect, choose a thick material, dare the big curls, the long hairs. Relaxation guaranteed for your feet!

Arrange some candles

Use and abuse candles. Their subdued light is very soothing, and the flickering of their flame invites you to daydream. A few candles, placed on the edge of the bathtub, or a nearby shelf, provide the ideal lighting for your moment of intimacy. You can also choose scented candles; it’s how you feel!

A few drops of essential oils

Essential oils are your allies to immerse yourself in a deep feeling of relaxation and serenity. You can pour a few drops directly into the bath water. Also, placed in a diffuser, essential oils release their aromas and benefits throughout your bathroom. Thus, you can opt for the shower, if you prefer it to the bath, and enjoy the virtues of essential oils. Lavender is particularly recommended for driving away stress and anxiety. While essential oils are great for relaxing you, you can also add other relaxing ingredients to your bath. Bath salts pleasantly scent the water and the ambient air. Think about music

If, in your bathroom, you are used to listening to the radio which broadcasts information, it is time to change the register! Tune into a music channel with soft accents, or program some relaxing background music.

There are specific CDs or playlists, with the sound of the waves or the chirping of small birds. Hearing is an essential sense for inducing a sense of relaxation. Listening to relaxing music has been proven to slow heart rate and lower blood pressure. And if you prefer to enjoy this moment in silence, that’s perfect too!

get yourself some fluffy bath towels

Choose your bath towels carefully. How good it is to wrap yourself in a large, fluffy towel! It’s time to put those old, rough terrycloth towels away in a closet. Treat yourself to a beautiful bath set.

Bathrobe or towel? It’s a very personal choice. What matters is the thickness and softness of the material. The color also plays. And again, there are no rules. Listen to your feelings. Do you prefer blue that evokes the sea, warm red, or immaculate white? What matters is the quality!

Warm up your towel

The hot towel is perfect for a cocooning feeling in your bathroom. Remember to put your towel on the radiator before your bath or shower, and the pleasure โ€“ when you get out โ€“ will be increased tenfold.
