Bucket List Places To Visit Part 1

Bucket list places to visit

More than two years after the start of the covid-19 pandemic. Yes, the desire to book a trip and escape to the edge of a beach, in the middle of nature or at the foot of a historic monument is becoming more and more pressing. Discover part one of my bucket list of places to visit at least once in your life.

For three years, the Coronavirus epidemic has punctuated our daily lives. The desire for travel and discovery is more and more present. Traveling mentally while waiting to be able to move again, nothing prevents you from planning for this summer of 2022 or the years to come.

Close your eyes. Imagine. It’s hot. Everywhere around you, architecture teeming with details and colors. Squares overflowing with life, stalls piled up in the alleys, enticing smells, spices tickling your taste buds, friendly people at every door. Immense dunes, breathtaking mountains, a sea as far as the eye can see, open lands, houses in the rock, herds of goats in the villages. Endless options…

The good news ? The dream can easily come true. The bad news? It will be difficult to choose which places to visit among these 3 places. As there is so much to discover. But don’t panic, I am here for the ride. I offer you a mini guide to the most beautiful places to visit this summer.

To inspire you, here is my list of places to visit at least once in your life before you die.

1- Nusa Penida, Indonesia.

Nusa Penida is an island in the province of Bali located southeast of the island of the same name, in Indonesia. Administratively, it has the status of kecamatan and is attached to the kabupaten of Klungkung. Two small islands are nearby: Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.

Clear weather, southeast coast of Bali. On the horizon, a dark mass floats on the ocean. Its outlines betray cliffs and its gradients reliefs, but without a volcanic silhouette. Unusual in the area.

Exotic island with clear waters off the coast of Bali, with unique Hindu temples and rolling rainforest that makes you want to go there so much…

2-Siargao Island, Philippines

Siargao is an island located in the province of North Surigao in the Philippines, 196 km southeast of Tacloban. Its area is 437 km2. It is a tourist destination, popular in particular for the practice of surfing.

The island of Siargao, located in the province of Surigao del Norte, in the east of the country, was by far people’s favorite and first choice to visit in the Philippines. It is an island tailor-made for travelers who crave adventure.

Palm trees as far as the eye can see, lagoons of water so blue that you can’t believe your eyes, and fine sandy beaches, much less developed than those of Palawan or Boracay, are just some of the attractions of this island.

3- Setenil De Las Bodegas, Spain

Setenil de las Bodegas is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Cadiz, an autonomous community of Andalusia, 157 km from the capital of the province, Cadiz. It is a small white village huddled under an immense rock, to the point that some houses have saved the construction of their roofs.

Named after its once thriving cellars (bodegas), Setenil de las Bodegas (meaning Setenil of the Wine Cellars) is unique among the pueblos blancos (white villages) of Andalusia and particularly famous for its dwellings built into the rocky overhangs .

The town stretches along the course of the Rio Trejo with a few houses built into the rock faces of the gorge itself, created by widening natural caves or overhangs and adding an outer wall.
